We know shopping local can matter to Ontario cannabis consumers.
That’s why we’ve established the Ontario Grown badge, helping adult consumers easily identify cannabis products that are grown in Ontario.
What qualifies as Ontario Grown?
● For a product to be eligible for the Ontario Grown badge, 75% of its cannabis inputs must be grown in Ontario.
● Suppliers must attest to this attribute in writing.
The Ontario Grown badge is currently in use for dried flower and non-infused pre-rolls only. However, it may be extended to other product categories in the future.

The deadline for submissions is May 23, 2025, at 5 p.m. EDT.
Submissions received by this deadline will be featured in the Ontario Grown launch early this summer; however, you can still submit attributes after this deadline by making a change request in the Help Centre after the launch.
